On a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, on location at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, host Jimmy Kimmel imagines what the second season of the HBO series True Detective would look like if it were set in Austin with him and Seth Rogen in the starring roles.
Season one of the great HBO show True Detective just came to a close. Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey were phenomenal as the stars, but they’ve made it clear that they won’t return to the show for a second season. Next season will follow two completely different detectives on a different case. There has been speculation about which actors will be tapped to play those roles. We can now reveal the identities of those actors and give you an exclusive sneak preview of True Detective season two.
