It’s Okay To Be Smart Explains How to See Time Travel and How to Build a Cloud Chamber Particle Detector

In a recent episode of It’s Okay To Be Smart, host Joe Hanson explains how particles from cosmic rays experience time dilation, meaning they appear to exist much longer that they should because they are traveling at nearly the speed of light. Hanson also demonstrates how to observe these particles using a simple device called a cloud chamber particle detector which can be built with simple materials like dry ice and a fish tank for about $30.
