Interview with Creature Creator & Actor Tom Woodruff, Jr.

Movie creature creator and actor Tom Woodruff, Jr. tells the tale of how he got into his unique line of work in this interview with the Stan Winston School of Character Arts. Woodruff developed an interest in movie monsters as a child and in 1982, at the age of 23, he move to Hollywood to pursue a career in special effects. He began working with special effects master Stan Winston on The Terminator, and soon began playing the monsters he had a hand in creating. In 1988, Woodruff co-founded special effects studio Amalgamated Dynamics, Inc. (ADI) and he continues to build and play movie creatures.
