Ignite NYC 13 at Web 2.0 Expo

With the tagline “Enlighten us but make it quick”, Ignite is a worldwide event that allows five minutes and 20 rotating slides to each of their speakers to present to an audience full of the ‘brightest geeks’.

The next Ignite event is Ignite NYC 13 at the Web 2.0 Expo in New York City on October 10, 2011 from 6:30 PM to 10 PM at the Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers. Ignite NYC is organized by Tikva Morowati, Martha Denton, Song Hia, Sandhya Moraes and Meghan Molino. Tickets are available now and the 20% off discount code for Laughing Squid readers is “LSQUID2011”.

5 minutes and 20 slides rotating automatically in front of NYC’s brightest geeks, what would you say? For nearly two years Ignite NYC has cultivated a vibrant community of artists, technologists, thinkers, tinkerers, and personalities to connect, develop new relationships and projects, and answer this challenge. Enlighten us, but make it quick!
