Pop culture humorist Charles Phoenix is back in his own Charles Phoenix Test Kitchen and he’s concocted a new recipe to make Fried Cereal. In this case, the cereal is sautéed in salted butter and is not deep-fried. His own personal mix of cereal uses Frosted Flakes, Lucky Charms, Cap’n Crunch, Cocoa Krispies and Fruit Loops.

In his funny and retro how-to video for Fried Cereal, Phoenix quips “cereal is not in jail with milk anymore…it’s OUT”. Be sure to watch until the end to find out where to send your spare cereal dust.

Kids, adults and senior citizens love fried cereal. It’s the new Chex Mix for the 21st Century!
