Hot Wheels and Star Wars Make a Full-Size X-Wing Car for San Diego Comic-Con 2016

Hot Wheels and Star Wars recently joined forces with PCW Brands once again to make a full-size car that resembles the look of an X-wing Starfighter. The car will be on display at San Diego Comic-Con 2016 on Wednesday, July 20th with a limited edition set of Star Wars trench run die-cast cars becoming available soon at the show and afterwards on the Hot Wheels Collectors website.

The iconic Star Wars X-wing Fighter is reimagined as a high performance Hot Wheels racecar equipped with a 2.0 liter 16 valve DOHC engine, AP dual piston calipers with slotted rotors, and custom Slick tires to out-maneuver the Empire and save the galaxy. Don’t miss the X-wing Fighterâ„¢ Carship when it speeds into San Diego Comic-Con International on Wednesday, July 20th and look out for die-cast 1:64 scale Carships at a retailer near you later this year!

In 2014, PCW Brands built a full-size car that resembles the look of the iconic helmet worn by Darth Vader.
