A Helmet-Mounted High Five Camera That Automatically Records High Fives on Video as They Are Given

The High Five Camera is a helmet-mounted camera rig that automatically records high fives in short video clips. Artist Andrew Maxwell-Parish created the system with a helmet, a desk lamp armature, an Arduino controller, and a GoPro camera. A wrist-mounted accelerometer detects an impending high five and activates the camera. This video shows the system in action—it turns out people in San Francisco really love to give high fives.
