Google Reader

Last week Google launched a RSS/Atom feed reader called Google Reader. For those of you looking for an alternative to Bloglines or have been searching for an online news reader in general, then you might want to give this one a try. The great thing about online news readers is that you don’t have to worry about trying to synch your feeds between readers or problems with cross-platform compatibility.
For a beta service, Google Reader is a pretty nice tool and includes a search feature that adds a “subscribe” button to the links returned with the search results, which of course are narowed down to only websites that have feeds. Here’s some more feedback on Google Reader from Om Malik, Niall Kennedy and TechCrunch.
