Google Night Walk is an immersive and interactive multimedia trip through Cours Julien, a beautiful neighborhood in Marseille, France. The project features a series of hotspots within a customized Google Maps integration with guides Julie de Muer and Christophe Perruchi providing their auditory insight into the odds and ends of the neighborhood along with contextual data provided by Google Knowledge Graph. Some spots are videos, some are images, and all come with music, commentary, or some combination of the two. The project, which was adapted from Christophe Perruchi’s Promenade Sonore #16, “Le Souffleur”, can be explored in full via its website.
