The whole "I'm too cool and 'with it' to give a crap" aesthetic is so tired and frankly pathetic. If you're too slick to make your cartoon look like it wasn't drawn by a child with palsy - all apologies to children with palsy trying to break into the cartoon field - you're probably too slick to make cartoons at all.
