Gary Gygax

Sad news, Gary Gygax, the co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons and co-founder of Tactical Studies Rules (TSR), died today. News of Gary’s death was reported on the Troll Lord Games forum.

I never thought of Gygax as old. Especially since the time at one of the early Dragon Cons, when I got to attend a room party he was hosting (I was on staff). Booze and mahjong. And booze. Those were the days!
