French Freediver Creates Underwater Designs From Perfectly Blown Air Rings

David Helderle, a freediver from France, demonstrates his skill for blowing perfectly formed air rings in a recent video by FreedivingUAE. After experimenting with standard rings, Helderle began to get more creative with his designs, creating some beautiful ethereal patterns under the waves.

The air is coming out from your mouth and it just spins in one direction, creating a vortex. At the beginning they were no good, and then, after a couple of weeks, they were quite okay. And then I started to make some combinations, trying to make some tricks, and now I’m doing some figures when two rings are connecting. I call them “borealis.”
