For years I was obsessed with the guy. I used to think I was in on Frank's joke - on franks side - part of his secret fan club. After seeing this film all I can feel is sadness and a little remorse - and feeling that all of the attraction by his hipster fans (including myself) is all so superficial. Perfect example of this is his open mic at 12Galaxies Club where he's met with screams and cheers for him. As if this was all some clever performance by Joaquin Phoenix. Hopefully, with the passing of the 12Galaxies Club, people can start to give Frank a little distance, privacy, and respect. I used to love seeing Frank around town, and every once in awhile on TV.
