Flying Scotsman

Robert Hardman of the Daily Mail has a great write-up about his trip on the Flying Scotsman, a wonderful 156′ tall bagpipe player hot air balloon owned by Muir Moffat, during the International Balloon Festival in Swiss village of Chateau d’Oex.

Cool. This guy shows up year after year at the Bristol International Balloon Fiesta, Bristol, UK.

Last year there was talk that he was just getting too old to fly. They always seem to have issues inflating one of his legs. Looks like they still have that problem (it’s his left one) but that he’s still flying high!
