FaceCrypt is an iOS app that allows users to protect their data in a vault that can be unlocked with a selfie. As an added security measure, users can secure individual “drawers” within the vault with additional passwords or patterns to protect bank statements, credit card information, and other data. FaceCrypt can also be configured to require users to blink, which means that someone can’t simply use a photo to break into the phone. Basic and Plus versions of the facial recognition security app are available to download from the iTunes App Store.
