Everything is Incredible, Film About a Disabled Honduran Man Who Has Been Building A Homemade Helicopter for 50 Years

“Everything is Incredible” is a moving short documentary about Agustin, a Honduran man who despite being severely disabled by polio, has been building his own helicopter for the past 50 years. The helicopter, which resides in Agustin’s small house, is made out of bicycle parts, rebar, and other scavenged materials. It is more an elaborate kinetic sculpture than an aircraft. The documentary is by filmmakers Tyler Bastian and Trevor Hill. Inspired by Agustin’s story, the two filmmakers have since started The Rise Institute, a non-profit media production company and learning institute. They are now raising funds on Indiegogo to buy Agustin’s home and his helicopter in order to ease the final years of his life, and to preserve the helicopter permanently.
