Etchpop, Custom Handprinting Woodblocks Created From Digital Images

Etchpop is a “startup in the works” that provides custom laser cut printing woodblocks from custom images. You upload a digital image to their site and in return a custom woodblock is sent back to you for creating handmade prints.

Marshall Tipton & Chester Arthur are behind Etchpop and recently launched a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter to bring this DIY printing online service to a wider audience.

Made by our friend and artist Noah Lambie. Noah was married to his lovely wife this summer at the beautiful Oregon coast. They brewed a special batch of beer named “Benthic Black” for the guests of their wedding. Noah used an etchpop woodblock to make the beer labels from a drawing he created with a simple Sharpie marker.
