Eerie Slow Motion Video of Commuters Waiting for a Train at Grand Central Station

Artist Adam Magyar set up a high speed camera on a New York City subway train and captured eerie super slow motion footage of commuters waiting on the platform at Grand Central Station. The footage is used in a 24-minute short film “Stainless” (the video above is an excerpt). As part of the project Magyar also took photos of moving subway trains using a special industrial camera that eliminates all motion blur. The photos and Magyar’s other urban art projects can be seen on his website.
