Actually more specifically it says it is a 1/2 scale replica. Whether or not you believe it to be true, it's still an engineering feat. Not to mention the fact that archaeologists found the remains of the ark in the ararat mountains in iran in 2006 and satellite photographs have confirmed it's size. On top of all of that the ark was about the size of a small aircraft carrier... if metal aircraft carriers can float, i think a wooden one could. Plus the thing wasnt exactly designed to travel the world as much as just float and keep people and animals alive right? So it does float but not by it self. Judging from the picture even he could not escape the many dutch safety regulations: emergengy exit sign (which is kind of funnny if you thing about it), firehose and obligatory signs.
