Mark Rober created a scale model of the solar system using a soccer ball on a football field as the Sun to show the scale of the solar system and to help give an idea of the true distance of the recently proposed ninth planet. Rober placed planets on the field at their relative distances from the Sun, but quickly ran out of room and needed to go beyond the field.
In the case of the Planet 9, Rober had to travel miles away from the soccer ball Sun to properly place the representing the hypothetical body.
