Dominos Is Starting To Use Drones To Deliver Pizzas to Customers in New Zealand

Dominos has started using drones to deliver pizzas to customers in the New Zealand town of Whangaparaoa. The drone deliveries are currently only being made within 1.5 km of a single Whangaparao location, but the company plans to expand the program to other stores in New Zealand in the future.

The drone delivery program is an expansion of Domino’s line of automated robots, which began in March 2016 with the land-based DRU (Domino’s Robotic Unit).
