Iranian artist Mehdi Ghadyanloov makes delightfully surreal murals in his hometown of Tehran. The large scale murals often feature whimsical 3D illusions or absurdist imagery. Most of the murals are painted on blank building walls which, according to Ghadyanloov, are a fairly common sight in Tehran. Ghadyanloov talks about his work in this Young Persian Artists interview.
