I've been a burner since 97, just after the infamous Helco year. Basically the exact point when everything started to change. I've witnessed that strange evolution of the event from humble drunken jackassery to million dollar, media-whoring, politically correct, family event. Every year I quietly discussed the fact that every year it slides further and further down the back of the bell curve. Every year I've ignored the themes and worked with my campmates to shape the event to what we think it should be, not what Larry incorporated has thought it should be. Ah, good times.
