Curious Marmot Licks the Camera That Was Filming Time Lapse Sequence for Greenpeace Documentary

A curious marmot licks the camera that was filming a time lapse sequence in Glacier National Park, Montana. The interrupted footage was meant for the Greenpeace documentary “Secretary Sally Jewell: #ParksNotCoal“.

This Marmot would like to give you a kiss for helping to save its home! We were shooting a time lapse for this video – when this marmot interrupted. In Glacier National Park, global warming is melting glaciers and shrinking the alpine tundra environment as tree lines move higher up the mountains. Shrinking tundra threatens marmots and other animals that live up high in these mountains.
