I made it by to tonight’s always great Creative Commons Salon at Shine in San Francisco and while there I shot a few photos.

One of the speakers was Joi Ito, who is chairman of the Creative Commons board and who also works with Technorati, Six Apart Japan, ICANN and many other organizations. It was great to finally meet him in person. We knew each other online through various social networks and in fact the first time I virtually met him was when we were setting up the IRC channel for the original BarCamp and he popped in to help out with JiBot.
