Crashpad is a free service that connects people looking for a place to live with people who have available rooms. Users create profiles for themselves or the living space and can then browse the site for a potential match. Crashpad launched in its hometown of San Francisco and is now available in New York City and Boston as well (it is still in beta). Portland, Seattle, Chicago, and Philadelphia will be added in a few weeks.
