Here’s a KTVI news story on Chuck Kalert, the guy who has changed the light bulb on the top of the Saint Louis Gateway Arch each year for the last 15 years. The top of the Arch is 630 feet above the ground.

Oh jeeze! whatever! this guy has a great job. have you ever been to the top of the arch? granted, it's no view from the sears tower or anything but for a city of it's size it's really cool.

On the TV coverage: Does Fox go out of their way to find pricks for their anchors? The bulb guy is very nice, trying to say, “I need to put the phone down, can I call you back?”… the response of the anchors is a snigger and “just put the phone down, Chuck”.
