Change.gov Launches As Part of The Presidential Transition Project

by Scott Beale on November 7, 2008 · 3 comments

Yesterday Barack Obama launched Change.gov, a new website including a blog that is part of the Presidential Transition Project, helping Obama move from President-Elect to President. They are also in the process of appointing the US’s first CTO. Today they posted video of Obama’s first press conference following his election.

The Presidential Transition Project is the enormous effort of hundreds of people coming together to lay out the agenda and priorities for the Obama Administration. Led by President-Elect Barack Obama, Vice-President Elect Joe Biden, a transition advisory board, and respected leaders from both the public and private sector, the transition is responsible for ensuring that the transfer of power from the current administration to the Obama Administration is smooth and that the continuity of leadership is preserved.

I'm amused by your “related posts”, and afraid to ask how the Presidential Transition Project is related to the The Flying Pig Sex Disaster Fundraiser. ;-)

Yeah, the “Related Posts” plugin often has some bizarre matchings.
