Twitter is in the final phases of rolling out their new Lists feature which allows you to create custom lists of Twitter users.

In conjunction with the release of lists, a new Twitter Lists directory Listorious has just launched, providing a way to discover some of the best lists on Twitter.

Speaking of Twitter lists, here’s a few lists I’ve created for San Francisco resources, Laughing Squid guest bloggers, Laughing Squid vendors.

Pee-wee Herman made a surprise appearance at the Ad.ly Launch party following the first day of 140 | The Twitter Conference in Los Angeles. While there he made his first ever Tweet on his brand new Twitter account @peeweeherman.

Following his debut Tweet, Pee-wee was a guest on The Jay Leno Show.

The Pee-wee Herman Show is returning as a live stage show for a limited engagement starting November 8th at The Music Box @ Fonda in Hollywood.

Helvetwitter, a simplified Twitter client by Jose Frichter, inspired by Helvetireader (Google Reader) by Jon Hicks and Helvetical (Google Calendar) by Ad Taylor.

Twitter success is based on the simplicity of the service. However, the website, as well as various standalone Twitter clients are becoming more and more cluttered with useless features and other junk. Therefore, I stripped it to the basics and now it’s the first twitter client I am happy with.

Denial-of-Service (Dos) attacks have been launched today against Twitter, Facebook and LiveJournal. Twitter and LiveJournal were taken completely offline and Facebook service has been degraded. Wired Epicenter has more on the DoS attacks.

Somebody needs to call a cyber plumber to come out and fix the tubes.

UPDATE 1: Google was also being targeted in today’s online attacks.

UPDATE 2: Facebook is saying that today’s DoS attacks targeted one specific user.
