CableRobot Simulator, An Advanced Virtual Reality Simulator Suspended by Cables

CableRobot Simulator

CableRobot Simulator is an advanced virtual reality simulator suspended in the air by eight cables capable of moving the user in any direction. The user sits in a carbon fiber cage while wearing a virtual reality headset, and the cables move the cage through space to mimic the action the user is experiencing in virtual reality.

The simulator was developed by a team at the Max Planck Institute which says the CableRobot is only limited by the size of the room it is in.
