<description>A few years ago I had the pleasure of doing some &#039;new media&#039; workshops with Radio New Zealand. My family was with me and we spent an afternoon at the Te Papa Tongarewa. I was struck at how much they had (then) accepted and engaged with modern media and popular culture references in their audience engagement activities. My kids not only felt at home in a museum, they learned tons of stuff and had bags of fun doing it.
