Walking up 7th Avenue in Chelsea I came across brgr. I definitely plan on stopping back here at some point during the trip.

Great photo, but unfortunately brgr has really gone down the tube in terms of tastiness in the past few months, which is a pity, as its only a block from my office.

I second dantekgeek– BRGR has definitely gone downhill, though maybe you caught it on a good night, Scott. I live around the corner from there. Scott check out Five Guys this week if you've never been! http://www.fiveguys.com/

I assume you've been to Shake Shack, but you should also really try Pop Burger in the Meatpacking District. Also, the secret hamburger place in Le Parker Meridien. Also, the short rib burger at Spitzer's Corner on the Lower East Side.

Agreed, Brgr's fare sounds good in theory but doesn't hold up to the taste test. Try Paul's on second ave at st. Marks. Of course there are tons of other great burgers in the city.

Not so great, actually. If you're in the area anyway it's a good option, but don't think it's worth a trip by itself. Hit @shakeshack instead.

Yeah, I'm well aware of Shake Shake. We went there yesterday. Great place. Pop Burger is on my list as well.
