Brainwash Movies Festival

For the past 11 years, Shelby Toland, Dave Krzysik and a crew of curators and judges have been assembling an amazing variety of films and video as part of the annual Brainwash Movie Festival. This year’s installment returns to it’s roots as a drive-in/bike-in event and takes place on Friday, July 8th and Saturday, July 9th at The Alliance for West Oakland Development parking lot in Oakland. You’ll be able to tune into the audio on your car stereo or portable radio/boombox. Here’s the full program, festival coupon and driving directions/map.

Hi, my name is Bob. Please show the movie “HAIR.” The movie is 2 hours of exciting 60’s music and dance. A film about friendship. No violence at all. It actually uses psychology to make people feel bad about war. This happens very quickly at the end of the movie. This movie will brainwash you to hate war. It works and I feel better for watching it. Just remember. This is REAL Psychological Anti-Warfare
