Boulder Theater

We walked by the beautiful art deco Boulder Theater tonight where Psychedelic Furs and Happy Mondays were playing. It was like stepping into a time warp.

A historic landmark, Boulder Theater opened in 1906 as the Curran Opera House.

Oh and here are the rest of the tour dates if you want to catch them in other cities.

L.O.V.E. laughing squid. and i LOVE the boulder theater: supporters of the arts, local radio and they’re over-all good shit.

i remember watching a beat junkies show there, shortly after starting a heavy dose of the wrong anti biotic; getting crazy itchy… not knowing it was an allergic reaction. called the pharmacy the next morning with a swollen lip. They told me to go the the emergency room immediately and that i was lucky to be breathing! I thought it was the beer…

Hi, Scott. Hope Springs artcar maker here – don’t know if you remember me. I remember something about a travelling mozart bust – right? But it just registered in my brain that you are here. I’m in Golden, working for an incredibly cool mountaineering library and archives (http://aaclibrary.wordpress.com) You should come visit today! I’ll be gone over the weekend though.
