Alex, something can be offensive without the “main moral” being for or against the subject matter, FYI. You’re conflating the two (or at least your post does. You might not have meant to come across that way). What do you think the artist was trying to say with this video? Mario Kart like powerups lead to nonconsensual murdersex?

For the record, I think the way geekologie handled this video was far better: putting gigantic NOT SAFE FOR WORK OMG SRSLY notes over the video. None of this tepid “oh PS maynotliekrapyscenesK?” at the end of the post.

Its not like the main moral of the movie is: Rape!
Its a music video btw . maybe the artists wanted to say something? :)

Lame. The animation was more disappointing than Jar Jar Binks! I kept rooting for the artist, wishing for some redemption. Alas, the finale was more of the same depraved crap.

Not sure what to say about this. I think the animation is incredible. Too bad the content is so misogynistic. This is the second time today I’ve seen this video posted, and I can’t help but wonder: If it was about a klansman chasing and doing terrible things to a black man, would it have been posted on websites I follow and enjoy? Certainly not without more critical commentary from the poster. Instead we get, “may be offended,” and “NSFW.” Hmm. Its depressing that rape jokes are still considered something of a matter of personal preference.

Not that I think Laughing Squid shouldn’t have posted this. I just think content like this needs to be censured, not censored.

Looks more 16 bit – notice all the SNES transitions? Plus I don’t recall my NES ever putting out grphx like that. Ah well, who cares. Everything is 8 bit. My cat? 8 bit. President Obama? 8 bit. Painful rectal itch? 8 bit.

WTF! Good um animations, whack content. Like something I’d make when I was 12. But still smooth transitioning from bizarre scene to more bizarre scene.
