I find it interesting that the 1984 video (while Jobs was still there) has an optimistic quality not-dissimilar to an iPod commercial (constant music, relentless energy) whereas the post-Jobs/Scully era 1987 video has an almost lethargic quality, trying to be funny but in the end a bit sad. (Admittedly, that reaction comes while thinking about the decade long nose dive the company was just beginning in 1987.)

Wow.. hadn't seen this one. Funny thing when i watched the commercial. It somewhat has all the gimmicks Apple uses today to sell itself. Graphic enhancements, zoom ins/outs, slide. Did you see the Navigator video as well? (http://youtube.com/watch?v=3WdS4TscWH8)
