Beard Papa at Hollywood & Highland and Beard Papa at Fanuil Hall both rock! Opposite coasts, same yummy goodness! Wish they’d come to Tennessee… but they never will, I’m sure :(

Beard Papa should merge with Dunkin Donuts and take over the world! Oh and I recommend the pumpkin flavored Beard Papa, just yummy.

The word “natural” is sprinkled on the above post and splattered all over “Beard Papaâ€™s, Fresh â€˜N Natural Cream Puffs” site, however, margarine is listed in the ingredients. Margarine is hydrogenated oil, a trans fat, and although it is made from natural ingredients, it’s definitely not natural as commonly defined. The puffs look good, but hydrogenated oil/trans fats, no thanks. Please correct me if the margarine in their ingredients means something other than hydrogenated oil.

A novelty food item. I tried one at Westfield Mall SF and thought it was ok. The cream filling was not that flavorful, and the pastry lacked the true taste of pate choux. I wouldn’t buy another.

Beard Papa is awesome. The location in Redwood City is even better. The pastry is crispier.
Cupertino location opened in late Oct. Crispy pastry, but under filled. It takes several dry bites to get to the inner goodness. Bummer.

In late 2003 some friends and I were visiting Tokyo where we saw a Beard Papa's establishment. In those early days Beard Papa claimed to serve pipin' hot cream puffs. Beard Papa's cream puffs are not served "pipin' hot", they are chilled. The only claim made about the only product sold was 100% false. Beard papa is a liar.

The Japanese ex-pat community here was very excited when this store opened. Beard Papa is an institution in Tokyo. Whenever I’m downtown, I try and stop by and get a box for the kids who love to eat them for breakfast.
