To be honest, i don’t think it’s really poking fun at the religious side of thing… to be honest it looks like it’s a hell (sorry!) of a lot more entertaining than going to church in england. It’s more interesting that the two things are actually so similar; band\dj , mc and dancing people having it lol

Ultimately i think that religion having no sense of humour about itself (i’m generalising) is where it’s going wrong!

anyway the vids are absolute genius – try searching “baby got book” for more religious rap content…

Actually, these churches look much more like Pentacostal churches than Baptist churches. Although there are Baptist churches that share some of those charismatic elements, in the United States at least, charistmatic services are much more closely associated with Pentacostals.

These are funny; however, I ask that you don’t lock all of us in the same category based on this perception. Thanks.

I’ve grown up a baptist, and none of the churches I was a part of acted like this. Yes, most churches these days could use a fire under them, but I have been fortunate enough to be a part of “Baptist” churches that don’t focus on a denomination, but on Jesus and a relationship with him. What I believe is that it’s not about a religion, but it’s about relationships. Plain and simple, Love God, Love People.
