Axe Cop, a new animated TV series that will be airing Saturday nights on FOX this summer, follows the comical crime fighting adventures of an axe-wielding cop named Axey Smartist and his various sidekicks. It will be a part of FOX’s upcoming Animation Domination High Def (ADHD) block of animated programming that will premiere Saturday, July 27, 2013 from 11 PM – 12:30 AM. The animated Axe Cop series is based off the hit web comics originally written by 5-year-old Malachai Nicolle and illustrated by his 30-year-old brother Etah Nicolle.

FOX has also released some info about the cast, including regulars Ken Marino, Patton Oswalt and Megan Mullaly. Guest voices include Giancarlo Esposito (Gus Fring on Breaking Bad) and Jonathan Banks (Mike from Breaking Bad) and more!
