Dutch photographer Alexander Augusteijn has created an incredible photo series of bullets cutting through droplets of water. He captures the high speed photographs using a computer-controlled process that precisely synchronizes the camera, flash, water, and gun. Adjustments are made in increments of 1/1000th of a second, and the entire photographic event takes about 28 milliseconds. Thanks to his fine tuning, Augusteijn is able to capture the bullet striking the droplet with nearly every photograph.
