Veritasium host Derek Muller attempts to lift a wheel weighing 42 pounds, and spinning at a few thousand rotations per minute thanks to some assistance from retired professor Rod Cross, over his head with one hand at the University of Sydney in “Anti-Gravity Wheel”. The result is achieved in part thanks to gyroscopic precession, which is to say the apparent weight rather than the actual weight decreases thanks to the torque from the wheel.
