Kenny Frankland (Tin Spider) created a really cool animated music video for the drum ‘n’ bass song “Printer Jam” by Mistabishi from their new album “Drop” (Hospital Records).

The music video is pretty neat. Take a listen at this tho:

It’s a canadian collective called The User and they did something similar to this called Symphony #1 and #2 for dot matrix printers.

I haven’t been keeping up with drum&bass lately, but Hospital is a great record label. Lots of great stuff coming from those guys.

This is most likely a gimmicky track, though- I wouldn’t expect a steady stream of conceptual sample use from this guy. Electronic music producers will use clever samples from time to time, like a busy signal on a phone in a drum and bass track or a chainsaw in a dubstep track.

It IS a really cool track and this guy is probably worth checking out- but not all his tracks are going to be this, well… nerdy.

This is brilliant. This video reminds me of Venetian Snares.
