An Amazing Computer Sensor That Works With Bows From Stringed Instruments to Make Music

Musically trained engineer Koka Nikoladze, maker of amazing analog beat machines, also created Koka’s Bow Sensor, a computer sensor makes music when used with a bow.

Koka’s bow sensor is basically a musical instrument. Or It rather extends various existing interfaces into bowed instruments. The bow sensor was designed and produced by Koka Nikoladze in 2015 as an extension of a MacBook. It precisely measures speed, direction and pressure of a bow, and these parameters are then used to control various properties of sound.
