American Elders and Brazilian Students Come Together Through Video Chat In Language Learning Program

The Speaking Exchange is a wonderful program created by the CNA language network that connects eager students at FSB Brasil, a Brazilian language school with American elders at Windsor Park, a Chicago-area retirement home. The lessons happen over video chat, which gives the students a real sense of an American experience and gives the “teachers” a great opportunity to share their knowledge.

FCB Brasil and the CNA language school network are launching the Speaking Exchange project, which connects CNA students in Brazil with Americans living in retirement homes. This meeting is carried out via an exclusive digital tool that uses video chat technology to bring the students face to face with Americans.
