American Comedian Brooks Wheelan Travels the World to Learn About Humor in Other Countries

France

In the new Above Average video series “Laughs in Translation“, American comedian Brooks Wheelan travels around the world to learn about what his peers in other countries find to be humorous, what is considered funny in their own countries and what they think of American humor.

What’s funny around the world? People say there is a universal language of love, but what about humor? Everyone on the planet laughs, but is there any commonality to what makes them laugh? American comedian and TV personality Brooks Wheelan will travel the world in search of answers. He will meet comedians from each country, learn the country’s favorite jokes, and chat with locals to hear what they think is (and is not) funny about American humor.
