Actor Seth Rogen, famous for roles in films like Knocked Up and Pineapple Express, gave an opening statement before the United States Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, Health & Human Services about the need for Alzheimer’s disease research. In his statement, Rogen discusses the ravages of the disease on his mother-in-law, his Hilarity for Charity organization that raises money for Alzheimer’s research, and the comparatively low amount of funding research into the disease receives in the United States.
