“Ghosts And Gadgets: Communicating with the Spirits” is a short documentary by filmmaker Ronni Thomas for the Morbid Anatomy Museum about the history of the planchette and other devices spiritualists claimed could be used to communicate with the dead.
The human subject of the documentary is Brandon Hodge, curator of Mysterious Planchette, a site dedicated to the devices. Hodge discusses the history of spiritualism and explains several interesting pieces in his collection.
