A Short Animation That Also Exists as an Installation in Which Each Frame Is 3D Printed

“FREEZE! An adventure in 100 frames” is a short animation that exists as a CGI short and in physical form, as a 3D-printed installation. Dutch animation studio Job, Joris & Marieke first created the 100-frame animation, which depicts a whimsical figure running amok on a table. They then 3D printed each frame and created an installation of the animation. The installation is on display at the exhibition MOVE ON…! 100 Years of Animation Art at Kunsthal KAdE in Amersfoort, the Netherlands through May 10, 2015.
