Photographer Sandro Giordoan depicts people in the moment after a fall in his darkly humorous photo series “In Extremis (bodies with no regret)”. In each photo the people are posed in comically awkward positions and photographed from unflattering angles. They are also surrounded by their belongings and always shown with one object in hand, as if it had been rescued from the fall in the person’s final act. The series is Giordoan’s commentary on the overwhelming nature of everyday life and people’s attachment to their possessions.
