Looking to add a bit of whimsy to that everyday fastener, the screw, Japanese design firm Studio Yumakano created the Screw:), a screw with a smiley face imprinted in the head. In addition to its decorative function, the smiley face is also where a screwdriver is inserted (a custom screwdriver is required). Screw:) was created in collaboration with Japanese screw factory Komuro Manufacturing.
